Wallet Card
Use this caring consumer card to examine the choices you are making when out shopping or purchasing any form of entertainment. Print and cut out the card, laminate it if you can and place in a visible spot in your wallet. When you are out making purchases, pull the card out and hesitate long enough to mindfully read the questions on the card. Many of the choices we make may seem to give us short term satisfaction or pleasure, but do not serve us in the long run or the big picture. This is a great ritual to begin with children old enough to be thinking about these issues. One of the largest groups of consumers in the world is teens. Print out one for each member of your family who is old enough to be making purchases.
