Valley Vegan Society's Gathering
Rae presenting "Time to Respond"

If you have ever heard the comments: “I used to be a vegetarian”,“I could never be a vegetarian, I love fish.”, “Chickens are so stupid, why not eat them?” “Oh, you’re a vegetarian? Where do you get your protein?” or any of a number of other challenging statements, you probably stood there unable to think of what to say or you felt like you had to suddenly come up with the perfect answer that would set this person on a new course.

This program will look at why people make lifestyle choices and either stay committed to them or turn away from them. It will give you easy to use tools for figuring out how you can react in a way that encourages open dialogue and connection (even with those who seem like hopeless communication challenges).

Evolution Cafe
